Old Hollywood Angel

As you see from the title, this look was inspired from the beautiful Victorias secret angels. From the hair, makeup to the clothing were all soft, sexy and glamourous. This look also gave a feel of old hollywood glamour to me, which is always fun to create because I love feeling the inner “DIVA” inside in me, she comes out once in a blue and slaysssss haha . Anyways…Here are the list of the things I used for the look!

  • Face: YSL Touche eclat B30 mic with Mac cosmetics Strobe cream, Concealed with Maybelines highlight concealer in 320 under my eyes, Contour with Mac cosmetics pro powder in Taupe and bronzed with Medium dark MSF, Highlighed with Macs Soft and gentle mixed with TheBalm cosmetics Mary loumanizer
  • Eyes: All mac products used. Primed with Soft Ochre paintpot, Crease colors were wedge and handwritten, Lids were soba and bronze, Liner on top was blacktrack gel liner and bootblack liquid on top, Bottom liner was fascinating on the water line and blacktrack on the lash line smudged straight out, Lashes were Ardel wispies, Eyebrows I used Nyx cosmetics cake powder in black/gray
  • Lips: Mac cosmetics Strip poker from the Kelly Osbourne line with oystergirl lipglass

This time I recreated model Chanel Imans look he did. This was a smokier look and a bit more dramatic. Shes so beautiful and I had a blast doing this look. Oh and she’s half Korean!! Im Korean so I had a proud moment there lol.. Ok products I used are…

Face:

  • Medium BB cream and Prolong wear concealer in NW20 in a triangular shape underneath the eye area and set that with a brightening matte powder for extra brightness
  • Medium Dark mineralize powder with Elf bronzer on the outer perimeters on the face. Add a bit more of the Elf bronzer on the hollows of the cheek
  • Soft and Gentle highlighter with Physicians formulas highlighter in vegas strip on the highpoints( bridge of the nose, above the eyebrows and above the cheek bones.( I blend a bit more to the cheeks so it blends a bit with the blush for a smoother transition)
  • Stay pretty blush
  • Fix+

Eyes:

  • Soft Ochre to the brow bone
  • Vapor shadow from the brow bone down to the crease
  • Kid and texture on the crease (really blend these two together and then you’ll get a beautiful transition color)
  • Mix Carbon and a matte blue shadow and make a outer V shape on the outside  and then bring it in the the mid point og the lid
  • All that glitters with Vapor shadow in the inner corner of the eyes and bring it in to meet the dark shadow
  • Use Black track gel liner to make a winged liner and drag it out a bit. Use Feline Kohl liner on the upper and bottom waterline.
  • Double your favorite lashes for the top of the eye and use individuals for the bottom lashes

Lips:

  • Snob lipstick with C-thru lip gloss

IMG_6357I was looking through pinterest the other day and came across Charlotte Tilburys board and how she was creating a Cindy Crawford inspired look. I absolutely loved It and wanted to create my own. For this look you needed all matte texture everything. I am a dewy skin lover but I had to powder my entire face over my contour for this look. For the eye I took Macs eye kohl pencil in Feline and covered my lid and then went in with a matte loose brown shadow and blended it out, making a slight V shape in the corner with lashes. For the lips I used A soft matte lip cream from NYX called “London” and overdrew my lip with Mac liner in “Stripdown. The over drawn liner was so in then and its defiantly coming back now. Hope you can created your own 90s supermodel look and hope you enjoyed mine!! Oh and dont forget the infamous mole! I used my Stilas liquid liner for that!!

Smokey eye for your mind

Smokey eye can translate in alot of different ways. I personally love a clean black and brown tapered smokey eye. Since the holiday is coming up I incorporated some glitter in the mix. That doesn’t mean you have to throw it all over the lid! I wanted a little bit on the inner ducts of my eyes to give it a ethereal feel. It ended up looking very pretty and clean even with a bit of glitter ,especially when the light hit that area. Here is a list of the things I used today for this look.

Face: Stobe cream mix with BB cream in medium, concealer around the eyes and inner cheeks in mineralize nw20, contoured with harmony and next to skin blush and highlighted with vanilla pigment

Eyes: Primed with paint pot(layin low) defined my crease with soft brown and soba shadow, embark and carbon all over the lid and lower lash line and dragged it out to meet my winged liner and then gold glitter on the inner tear ducts and used clear brow gel to make it adhere

Lips: Honey love lipstick with a bit of gloss

voila! Give it a try!
