As you see from the title, this look was inspired from the beautiful Victorias secret angels. From the hair, makeup to the clothing were all soft, sexy and glamourous. • Stars and Rockets shadow on the lid  and blended to the crease lightly

My Favorite lip combos

IMG_6942

This is my ultimate red that makes any head turn. The perfect blue undertone matte red that demands attention in any room. I used Mac cosmetics Ruby Woo all over the lip then went completely over it with NYX Monte Carlo soft lip cream. The soft matte lip cream leaves a very velvety smooth finish.

This baby pink lip gives such a cute feminine feel for the days you want to keep it light but have a bit of color. I used Mac cosmetics prolong wear lip color in Overtime which gives the NYX soft matte lip cream in tokyo longevity, due to the 8hour power!! Again, from the soft lip cream it gives a velvety touch. Ohh and did I mention that the soft matte lip creams smell like birthday cake heaven!!!!!! I can literally keep this stuff

You’ll probably see me wearing a dark lip no matter what time of the year! My favorite combo being Mac cosmetics Smoked purple with Mac cosmetics Current liner to really sharpen the look. I know alot of people put on the liner before the lipstick  but I do the opposite to save time and to really sharpen the edges.

Lately I been rocking a bit of nude and I must say Im feeling the sexy plump look thats been on trend. First I over draw my lips a bit with Mac cosmetics Stripdown liner as well as penciling in my entire lip with it. Then I use Mac cosmetics Peach-Stock generously over it and top it off with Revlons Lip butter in Creme Brule.

IMG_6357I was looking through pinterest the other day and came across Charlotte Tilburys board and how she was creating a Cindy Crawford inspired look. I absolutely loved It and wanted to create my own. For this look you needed all matte texture everything. I am a dewy skin lover but I had to powder my entire face over my contour for this look. For the eye I took Macs eye kohl pencil in Feline and covered my lid and then went in with a matte loose brown shadow and blended it out, making a slight V shape in the corner with lashes. For the lips I used A soft matte lip cream from NYX called “London” and overdrew my lip with Mac liner in “Stripdown. The over drawn liner was so in then and its defiantly coming back now. Hope you can created your own 90s supermodel look and hope you enjoyed mine!! Oh and dont forget the infamous mole! I used my Stilas liquid liner for that!!

Day and night

Annie & JennAnnie & Jenn-2Annie & Jenn-4-1

I been a makeup artist for a few years and the concept of how much makeup you have to put on to look amazing is so off the wall!! I want to showcase real beauty looks that can we worn every day and for those special nights. Here is a day to night transformation looks. For daytime, Its all about making your face more lively. Most of us don’t get the the perfect 8 hours of sleep so by putting on colors to bring out your best features makes a big difference in the morning. For the nighttime look,, you can just build on from what you had during the day. I added a winged liner and a red lip to what she had on already and it added more drama to the look. It doest always have to be complicated to get a fabulous look. Work with your best feature(accent point) so If you love your eye shape, play with that and make that your stand out point by wearing different colors for liner, shadow and even mascara. You got great cheek bones then play with powder and cream blushes then add on different shades of highlights. You get the point! Less is more but working with your accent point makes your look pop!

Smokey eye for your mind

Smokey eye can translate in alot of different ways. I personally love a clean black and brown tapered smokey eye. Since the holiday is coming up I incorporated some glitter in the mix. That doesn’t mean you have to throw it all over the lid! I wanted a little bit on the inner ducts of my eyes to give it a ethereal feel. It ended up looking very pretty and clean even with a bit of glitter ,especially when the light hit that area. Here is a list of the things I used today for this look.

Face: Stobe cream mix with BB cream in medium, concealer around the eyes and inner cheeks in mineralize nw20, contoured with harmony and next to skin blush and highlighted with vanilla pigment

Eyes: Primed with paint pot(layin low) defined my crease with soft brown and soba shadow, embark and carbon all over the lid and lower lash line and dragged it out to meet my winged liner and then gold glitter on the inner tear ducts and used clear brow gel to make it adhere

Lips: Honey love lipstick with a bit of gloss

voila! Give it a try!
